In Our Classrooms wraps up

The December 2023 edition of In Our Classrooms is the final edition of the department’s monthly newsletter for teachers. The department will not continue the newsletter in 2024.

While In Our Classrooms is wrapping up, we encourage teachers to explore other ways to hear more about the department’s professional learning opportunities and classroom resources.

In Term 1, 2024, the department will launch Arc Learning. It joins Arc Events and Arc Software to create a central destination for teachers to easily access and navigate a range of digital learning and teaching services. Arc Learning will give teachers easier access to the highest quality learning and teaching resources.

The Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership (the Academy) offers a wide range of evidence-based professional learning designed to advance teachers and middle leaders’ skills from great to exceptional. You can explore some the professional learning opportunities available on the Academy website.

The Academy Connect newsletter is published 3 times a term – subscribe to stay up to date with Academy news and professional learning opportunities.

You can also find information for teachers on professional learning and development on the department’s website.

We will also continue to share our online library of previous In Our Classrooms articles on our website, where you can find the best-practice approaches and evidence-based classroom resources we’ve shared over the years.

Teachers make a huge impact on students, families and communities, and the department will continue to provide the professional learning and development supports you need to serve your school community.
