Training at regional training centres

CASES21 training is provided for business managers, principals and administration staff at eleven regional training centres. Training varies from two hour workshops to half and full day classroom and blended learning sessions. Topics include:

Financial management training

Several training courses are offered for school staff with financial roles and responsibilities, including:

Finance matters

Financial management for school leaders and school administrators (principals, aspiring principals, business managers and education support staff). This course is presented in six half-day modules and covers best practice for the Student Resource Package (SRP), workforce budgeting, financial management, financial reporting, budget preparation and taxation.

Cluster information sharing sessions

Presented by school finance liaison officers (SFLOs) for business managers and service support officers, these sessions usually cover one topic a term, and run for approximately two hours per session.
