What is the Navigator Program

Navigator supports disengaged young people to return to education and learning.

Students enrolled in or intending to enrol in a Victorian government and non-government schools and education settings are eligible to participate in Navigator.

Expression of interest to deliver the Navigator Program in the Outer East Melbourne, Wimmera South West and/or Barwon Areas

Navigator is a DE educational re-engagement program that operates in each of the Departments 17 Areas. An Expression of Interest (EOI) is now open to deliver the program in the Outer East Melbourne, Wimmera South West and/or Barwon areas from January 2025 – December 2027.

Applications close 11.59pm, Sunday 19 May 2024.

Information session for interested applicants

An online information sessions will be held for interested applicants on Tuesday 30 April 2024, 10:00am-11:30am

The information session will include an overview of the Navigator Program and the Outer East Melbourne, Wimmera South West and/or Barwon areas, an overview of the EOI process, reflections and insights from existing Navigator Program Areas, and a Q & A session.

To register, please send an email (specifying all attendees names and email address / phone number and areas in which you are interested in applying to deliver in) to navigator@education.vic.gov.au by COB, Friday 26 April 2024.
