The department is offering 75 fully funded places per program for eligible applicants to apply for the Master of Inclusive Education (Round 9) and the Graduate Certificate in Education (Learning Difficulties) (Round 2).

Applications close at 11:59 pm, Tuesday 28 March 2023.

Why inclusive education is important

Our long-term vision is for all Victorian government schools to have an inclusive education teacher with a master-level or graduate certificate qualification on staff.

The Master of Inclusive Education program

The Master of Inclusive Education program significantly enhances how teachers support students with disability and additional learning needs. The program offers 8 master-level inclusive education courses, through 7 participating universities. Successful applicants have up to 4 years to complete their studies. Contribution towards teacher replacement for practicum is available.

This opportunity is available to learning specialists, leading teachers and classroom teachers. Eligible applicants must be working directly with students with disability and additional learning needs in mainstream and specialist Victorian government primary, secondary and Supported Inclusion schools.

Graduate Certificate in Education (Learning Difficulties)

The Graduate Certificate in Education (Learning Difficulties) program strengthens teachers' understanding of learning difficulties and interactions between different types of learning difficulties, including dyslexia and dyscalculia.

This opportunity is available to learning specialists, leading teachers and classroom teachers. Eligible applicants must be working directly with students with learning difficulties in mainstream Victorian government primary, secondary and Supported Inclusion schools.
