Apply now for 2023 Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership professional learning programs
The Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership (the Academy) is committed to developing current and future school leaders to give them the confidence and capabilities to lead and innovate in their school.
Applications for these programs are open and will close in February 2023.
The programs give educators the skills to influence and lead from any level.
Impact: Emerging Leaders
This program is an opportunity to build your emotional intelligence, learn to effectively engage with colleagues, and lead data-driven decision-making, excellence and equity in student learning, student voice and collaborative change.
The program will begin on Tuesday 14 February 2023 for educators who have recently taken on, or are about to start, a formal leadership role.
It will run for 6 months and cost $880 per participant.

Create: Middle Leaders
This program will build your confidence and capabilities to influence and lead improvement in classroom and pedagogical practices while networking with peers.
The program will begin on Thursday 16 February 2023 for educators in formal leadership roles, for example, learning specialists, leading teachers, or middle years literacy and numeracy specialists.
It will run for 6 months and cost $990 per participant.

Literacy and Numeracy Master Trainers
This program will give you the skills to become a master trainer and facilitate local leader programs aimed at developing the skills and knowledge of literacy and numeracy leaders.
As a master trainer, you will support a system-wide approach to numeracy and literacy professional learning that advances teaching and learning to improve student outcomes.
The program will commence in Term 2, 2023, for educators who are highly effective literacy or numeracy practitioners and have a commitment to literacy and numeracy improvement.
It will run for 3 months, and the fees are fully subsidised.
