The EISA Menu helps Victorian government schools purchase high quality programs and activities that support students to:
- stay engaged in school
- connect with community and culture
- join in, have fun and feel included
- build positive social skills (like teamwork, respect and confidence).
The menu shows:
- what each program is about
- when and where programs run
- how programs are delivered
- how much programs cost.
Schools can choose programs that suit their students, local needs and school timetable.
The EISA Menu includes programs for secondary school aged students and upper-primary aged students.
EISA Menu programs can help to strengthen student engagement at school. This can lower their risk of boredom, isolation and contact with the youth justice system.
We have assessed all programs on the EISA Menu to make sure they are suitable for schools and meet child safety requirements. Providers have submitted prices and key program details to make it easy for schools to choose and purchase a program.
Some schools will receive annual funding from 2026 – 2029 (four calendar years) to help pay for programs on the EISA Menu.
Schools have been selected for funding based on supporting students who may be at higher risk of disengagement.
These schools have been contacted directly by the department and informed of their allocated funding amounts.
Many programs on the EISA Menu are available for students with disability, including students attending specialist schools. Please check each program page to see whether it is suitable. For more information on how programs on the EISA Menu can be delivered in specialist schools and settings, please contact providers directly.
