Funded postgraduate opportunities for inclusive education

Consider a Graduate Certificate in Education (Learning Difficulties) or Master of Inclusive Education in 2023

There are 75 fully funded places on offer in 2023 for eligible applicants in both the Master of Inclusive Education and the Graduate Certificate in Education (Learning Difficulties).

Master of Inclusive Education

We are funding the Master of Inclusive Education for teachers to support our long-term vision for all Victorian government schools to have an inclusive education teacher with a master-level qualification on staff.

Participating in this program can help teachers make a significant contribution to supporting students with disability and additional learning needs.

The program offers 8 master-level inclusive education courses through 7 participating universities. Successful applicants have up to 4 years to complete their studies. Contribution towards teacher replacement for practicum is available.

Graduate Certificate in Education

The Graduate Certificate in Education (Learning Difficulties) program will strengthen teachers' understanding of learning difficulties and interactions between different types of learning difficulties, including dyslexia and dyscalculia.

This opportunity is available to learning specialists, leading teachers and classroom teachers. Eligible applicants must be working with students with learning difficulties, including dyslexia and dyscalculia, in mainstream Victorian government primary or secondary schools.

Applications will be live at Master of Inclusive Education Program and Graduate Certificate in Education (Learning Difficulties) Program from 9 am on Monday 30 January 2023.
