The Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership has a new collection of professional learning opportunities to support teachers in strategic planning for 2023.
Courses are subsidised by us, held online or in-person and happening throughout Term 4, 2022.
Classroom teachers, teacher leaders, learning specialists, literacy and numeracy leaders and graduate teachers are encouraged to apply.
Along with developing your strategic planning skills and abilities, these courses also provide the opportunity to widen your support networks.

Cooperative Learning for Mathematics
Develop your pedagogical skills in teaching mathematics and enhance student wellbeing and engagement with practical cooperative learning structures. Designed and facilitated by Kagan Australia, primary school intake is 3x 2-hour online workshops, while secondary school is 2x 3-hour workshops.
Future Focus
Join Dr Simon Breakspear to collaboratively review existing literacy and numeracy initiatives in your school setting and develop an informed, rigorous plan for next year. The primary school program is 3x 90-minute online workshops, while the secondary school program is 2x 3-hour online workshops.
Leading Deep Learning
Better understand the complex changes impacting learning in your school context. Connect with Joanne Quinn in this one-day, in-person workshop to consider how to foster innovation and engagement in learning and create authentic learning experiences.
National Excellence in School Leading Institute (NESLI) Staff Wellbeing Toolkit
NESLI's Staff Wellbeing Toolkit is designed to support the optimal health and wellbeing of school-based staff. It is a self-paced program that will allow you to proactively manage your own wellbeing and provide strategies to support your school community.
